Vacancy Description:

Our client is a leading modular Main Contractor working on new build projects across the UK. They have a strong pipeline of secured work and are looking for an Electrical Works Manager to join them to oversee multiple projects nationwide including the construction of schools, offices & hospitals.

Electrical Works Manager Responsibilities
- React to issues on site, this could be planned through organised visits or immediate attendance due to technical faults that are resulting in Electrical systems being down.
- Carry out sign off for NICEIC certification through to notification as part of the company registration
- Carry out progress report, ensuring timescales are met on a weekly basis and report back so issues with timescales can be discussed /resolved.
- Organising engineers on a weekly/daily basis as the schedule requires
- Organising materials/kit lists for upcoming works and ensuring these are delivered and signed off prior to site start
- Liaising with Site Management and project planning / management teams
- Coordination / management of project supply chain
- Monitor project costs
- Reporting of job progress
- Read through tenders to understand requirements
- Collating timesheets expenses/job sheets on a weekly basis and ensuring these are completed correctly and hours claimed are correct with the correct job number referenced
- Deal with technical queries from engineers as required, look into queries and ensure engineers understand how to fix the problem and organise in house training should this be required
- Organisation and carry out of site visits for the purpose of Quality & H&S control and documentation
- Ensure adherence to Health & Safety regulations
- Experience working within a range of sectors including Commercial, Healthcare, Education and Data Centres

Profile:
- Experience of working on M&E projects up to £3m
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- HND/HNC Electrical OR Equivalent Qualification
- Full UK driving license
