Vacancy Description:

Our client are a Tier 1 Main Contractor requiring no introduction. A multi sector, multi divisional Main Contractor, this is an opportunity to join one of the heavyweights of the industry! On the back of securing a £50m package of work on a landmark Rail scheme in London, they have an opening for an experienced Site Agent to join them on a permanent basis.

The successful candidate will have extensive experience of rail project work including new build, civils and refurb who wishes to progress their career in a company guaranteeing support to them.

Responsibilities will include:

- General site supervision, including completion of records as required, the day-to-day organising of labour and undertaking the management of Section Engineers, Site Engineers, Section Managers and Foreman
- Organising plant and ordering materials
- Addressing issues raised by staff or the Public and other interested parties and inform of issues
- Drive construction phase of project
- Support schemes agent to compile works packs including where appropriate H & S Information and documentation and liaise with clients and designers
- Carry out monthly audits and joint audits with SHE advisor
- Manage Quality & Environmental plans on site
- Control of contract costs

Experience / qualifications required:

- Degree Qualified is preferable
- CSCS qualified
- First Aid qualified
- Experience in heavy civils works and rail schemes
- Full UK driving licence
