Vacancy Description:

Your chance to join one of the UK's Main Contractor with office fit out projects throughout London and South West. Our client has established as one of the major players in the commercial fit out market delivering both CAT A & CAT B projects with an excellent design team, delivery and commercial set up. This is your opportunity to join an upwardly mobile business that should break over £150m turnover this year.

Having secured stacks of work over all over the UK we have been asked to supply permanent Construction Managers to work on projects ranging from £1m - £10m in value across London.

Construction Manager responsibilities:

- Point of contact for the client.
- No. 1 on site responsible for the ultimate delivery of the project.
- Reviewing Risk Assessments and Method Statements.
- Know the requirements of H&S policy and legislation, and ensure these standards
- Undertake all necessary site inspections of workplaces, access equipment, plant and other equipment and ensure that all the necessary report forms are completed
- Promote co-operation between all contractors and designers working on the project and co-ordinate all construction operations, implement arrangements with sub-contractors and others on site, to avoid confusion about areas of responsibility for health, safety and welfare
- Management of skilled trades and labour.
- Keeping project to programme, solving technical issues on site.
- Daily reporting.

Experience required:

- Minimum 5 years Construction Manager experience.
- 3 years Shopfitting / Commercial Office project experience.
- CSCS, First Aid, SMSTS.
- Must be degree qualified (Desirable)
- Good IT skills.
- Willing to work nationwide
