Vacancy Description:

Our client is a leading UK construction consultancy who work across multiple sectors in the construction industry, they are looking for a Project Manager to join their team who are working with Network Rail. You will be based in the client offices in Derby and working as part of a team delivering a large scale resignalling project in London

The ideal candidate will have experience working in the rail sector and be passionate and driven. At first you will be managing the project through the initial GRIP stages (0-3), candidates must be familiar with this process.

Responsibilities will include:

- Project and Programme Management
- Risk Management
- Client liaison in order to define scope of work
- Feasibilty studies
- Selection of contractors
- Project Planning
- Project & Cost Assurance
- Engineer Process & Performance Management
- Design Management and Assurance

Experience required:

- Project Management experience working for a construction consultancy, main contractor or end user
- Rail or Civil Engineering experience
- Knowledge of the intial GRIP stages
- Degree qualified
- Proven experience in running a multidisciplinary team
