Vacancy Description:

Our client is a UK Main Contractor that specialises in office fit out and refurbishment projects throughout South East England. They are currently looking for an experienced Health and Safety Manager to join them on a permanent basis to deliver projects in throughout Central London.

Responsibilities include:

- Carrying out site inspections / audits with photographic evidence and documented reports.
- Ensuring that all health and safety procedures are being adhered to.
- Issuing H&S Templates to the Internal Team.
- Compliance checks in line with ISO.
- Monitoring and reporting on site accidents and incidents and reporting through internal procedures.
- Supporting and advising on HSE Management and compliance.
- Working with department managers to implement a H&S culture.
- Promoting a proactive HSE approach/attitude among employees and site staff
- Supporting the Operations Director in developing / improving a healthy Health & Safety culture.

Health & Safety Manager Experience required:

- NEBOSH Construction qualified
- 5 years experience
- CSCS & First Aid holder
- Ideally experience in the commercial fit out market
- Excellent Communication Skills
- Commercial Awareness
- I.T. literate
